Former Black Caps fast bowler Iain O’Brien, who came back to New Zealand during the tail end of the summer to help deal with mental health issues, is now worried about his wife’s health as she has a lung condition. O’Brien lives in UK along with his wife Rosie and children Alethea (9) and Zain (7) has found himself stranded in his homeland during the times of rapidly-spreading COVID-19 pandemic.

The 43-year-old from Wellington also expressed grave concerns about the way his fellow New Zealanders are dealing with the COVID-19 situation. He warns his countrymen that they need to change their social habits immediately before things get out of hand.

“The big bit for me is my wife has a lung condition where if she gets any sort of chest infection it can take time off her life,” O’Brien, who played 22 Tests, 10 ODIs and four T20s for New Zealand between 2005-2009, was quoted as saying by the ‘stuff.co.nz’.
