EPS, Stalin Lead List Of Big Names On The Ballot In Tamil Nadu Polls

NEW DELHI: Tamil Nadu is all set to vote on Tuesday in the single-phase assembly election with the ruling AIADMK and the main opposition DMK being the main contenders. It is for the first time in several decades that the two main parties are going to polls without any charismatic leader heading them.

While the AIADMK is striving to win the third consecutive term since 2011, the DMK has aggressively campaigned to wrest power from it.

The southern state witnessed a fierce electioneering spanning over four months. A resurgent DMK eyes capturing power and a determined AIADMK is straining every nerve to retain power.
