New Delhi: Suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Tahir Hussain has been arrested by Delhi Police from a court in the national capital in connection with the alleged killing of Intelligence Bureau (IB) official Ankit Sharma during the recent communal violence in northeast Delhi. Notably, he was earlier arrested in connection with a matter related to violence in north-east Delhi.

The police had sought five-day custody of Hussain before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Pawan Singh Rajawat.

Delhi’s Karkardooma court has, however, remanded Hussain to four days of police custody following his arrest.
