Come to me For Jobs Even if You Don’t Vote For me, Says Varun Gandhi to Muslims in Pilibhit

New Delhi: BJP candidate from Pilibhit Lok Sabha constituency, Varun Gandhi on Sunday was caught making a statement stark opposite to his mother Maneka Gandhi‘s few weeks ago in Sultanpur when he assured to ‘help Muslims even if they don’t vote for him’.

News agency ANI quoted him as saying, “Bas mein ek cheez Muslim bhai ko bolna chahta hun ki agar aapne mujhe vote diya toh mujhe bahut accha lagega, agar aapne mujhe vote nahi diya, koi baat nahi, tab bhi mujh se kaam le le na, koi dikat ki baat nahi.” (I just want to say one thing to my Muslim brothers, if you vote for me, I will feel very nice but even if you don’t, you can come to me for help and jobs.)

This gains significance because Varun Gandhi’s mother and BJP candidate from Sultanpur Lok Sabha constituency, a few weeks ago ran into controversy for appealing the Muslim brethren to vote for her, and if not then abandon all hopes of getting any help from her in case she wins.
