Akshay Kumar, who is known for discipline and his work ethics, is currently shooting Bell Bottom in Scotland. The film is running behind schedule because of the novel coronavirus pandemic. To make up for the lost time and money spent on a large crew, the cast and crew of the film are working extra hard. Akshay Kumar broke his 18-year rule of working eight hours a day. He is working in double shifts to ensure that the shoot finishes in time and producers can save their money.

Bell Bottom is among the first Bollywood films to resume shooting after months of halt on film production due to the coronavirus pandemic. The team reached Scotland recently and had to quarantine for 14 days before kick-starting shoot. Akshay realised the financial hit the producers would have to take given the huge size of the unit and decided to work in double shift. Two simultaneous units are working to ensure that the shoot gets completed in scheduled time.

The unit has been shooting simultaneously with the local teams in double shifts making it the first film of its kind post lockdown.
