Akshay And Bhumi's 'Durgavati' Is Now Titled 'Durgamati '

Bhumi Pednekar's horror thriller, which was earlier titled as Durgavati, has been renamed as Durgamati: The Myth. Akshay Kumar, who is one of the producers of the film, today took to social media to share the news with a new poster. In the poster, Bhumi can be seen in an intense look. Durgamati, directed by G Ashok, is the remake of Telugu-Tamil film Bhaagamathie by the same director. Anushka Shetty played the lead role in the original film.

Akshay Kumar shared the new poster of Durgamati, which was earlier titled as Durgavati. The film stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. He wrote, "Are you ready? Meet #DurgamatiOnPrime on Dec 11, @PrimeVideoIN (sic)."

Akshay Kumar is one of the producers of Durgamati along with Vikram Malhotra, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.
