7-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling Into Drain In Mumbai

A seven-year-old boy in Mumbai's Dharavi area died due to drowning after he fell down a drain at the Rajiv Gandhi Colony. This is the third such incident in a week.

After being alerted about the incident, police rushed to spot and pulled up the boy from the open drainage, reported PTI.

He was rushed to the Sion hospital, where he was declared brought dead, confirmed an official.

This comes even as the body of 1.5-year-old Divyansh, who fell into a gutter in Goegaon on July 10, is yet to be recovered.
