Congress President Rahul Gandhi was questioned by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday over the ongoing sealing drive in the national Capital. Gandhi tweeted on Tuesday blaming the AAP and BJP for the sealing issues in Delhi.
"One should stop the blame game over the sealing in Delhi. The fight between the AAP and BJP is affecting the business of traders in the city. Rather than getting involved in a political fight, both the parties should come together to find a solution for the problem," Gandhi said.
Replying to him, Chief Minister Kejriwal requested him to raise this issue in Parliament session. He also offered him the support.
"I urge u to kindly raise sealing issue strongly in current session of Parliament and force BJP to take all steps necessary to stop sealing n open sealed shops. AAP will support any such effort (sic), Kejriwal tweeted.
Sanjay Singh, AAP's Rajya Sabha member, moved a private member's bill in the Upper House on Monday, seeking an end to the sealing drive in the city. He also urged all the political parties to come together to pass the bill.
